Monica Perry, OD grew up in Kingsport, TN. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology/health sciences from East Tennessee State University in 2011. She then began her optometric training at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, graduating in 2016 as valedictorian.
Next, Dr. Perry spent a year at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, TN in a primary care/ocular disease optometry residency. She has been practicing in the greater Knoxville area since 2017.
Dr. Perry got her first glasses when she was 6 years old and enjoys helping others see their very best with glasses and contact lenses. She is also passionate about caring for her patients’ ocular conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetic eye disease, helping them preserve their best eye health, vision and comfort.
In her spare time, Dr. Perry enjoys hiking, gardening, photography, and spending time with family.
