Elissa Fleming, OD

Elissa Fleming, OD, FAAO, has been with Tennessee Eye Care since 2008. Dr. Fleming grew up in Oak Ridge and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2007. She completed a residency in 2008 in Geriatrics and Low Vision Rehabilitation at the Birmingham Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Dr. Fleming is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association. She is also active in the local East Tennessee Society of Optometric Physicians as well as the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians.

Dr. Fleming lives in Knoxville with her husband, Scott, and two children. She enjoys traveling, baking, college football, and spending time with her family.
