Timothy Stout, MD

Dr. Timothy Stout is a seasoned ophthalmologist who began his academic journey at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, graduating with a medical degree in 1995. He completed his internship in medicine at UMKC in 1996, followed by a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Kansas in 1999. Dr. Stout further specialized in vitreoretinal surgery through a fellowship completed at Retina and Vitreous Associates in Lexington, KY, in 2001.

With a solid foundation in ophthalmology, Dr. Stout returned to Kansas City to practice at Discover Vision Centers and Silverstein Eye Center. He is now bringing his expertise to Tennessee Eye Care in Knoxville.

Dr. Stout is a father of two college students, Cade and Kaitlyn. He enjoys sports, music, and outdoor activities and is accompanied by his girlfriend, Laura, in this new professional chapter.
